| | Mar 1, 2010 | | Grower and Grower Advisor Seminar - Tulare | Fruit Growers Laboratory, Inc. is hosting a seminar at the International Agri-Center, 4500 South Laspina Street, Tulare, CA 93274-9539 on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Continental breakfast will be provided at 7:30 a.m. and lunch will be served following the seminar at 12:00 noon.
We plan to have six speakers addressing the following topics:
1) Spray drift 2) Irrigated lands & watershed program 3) Interpretation of soil & leaf tissue analysis 4) Interpretation of irrigation water analysis reports 5) Foliar nutrition of nut crops
The meeting has been approved for 3.0 CCA Continuing Education Credits:

| | Jun 24, 2009 | | New Professional Alliance between FGL & Culligan | Culligan Water (Chico) and FGL Environmental (Chico) are pleased to announce that they have agreed on a Professional Alliance to provide full turnkey services to water systems in Tehama, Butte, Glenn, Yuba and Sutter Counties.
Culligan Water, Chico was established in the 1960's. The current owner purchased the business in 1983 and has since successfully managed and expanded the business into five counties in the northern California region. Culligan Water, Chico provides water solutions to residents, in addition to offering Distribution and Treatment operator services to water companies.
The combined resources of both our companies will assist water purveyors in providing a "One Stop" source to maintain compliance with county regulators. The Alliance will offer the following services:
- Sampling services - Monthly well operator service - Quality laboratory analysis - 5 business day analysis Bacteriological and Nitrate reporting
To celebrate this new Alliance, both Culligan Water and FGL Environmental are offering a special promotion to water companies that sign up for our combined services. This offer will include FREE... all of the above services for three (3) months beginning in August 2009.

This very experienced team will provide a "total package" program to dairies operators and their advisors to assist with compliance with the Regional Board's Order No. R5-2007-0035 for Dairy Operations.
Fruit Growers Laboratory, Inc./ FGL Environmental (FGL) is a State certified (ELAP) and agricultural laboratory. FGL provides sampling and analysis services for drinking water, wastewater, groundwater and run off water compliance monitoring. FGL also provides analysis of agricultural soils, manures, tissue and irrigation waters. The company maintains three (3) laboratories in California, Santa Paula (Ventura County), Stockton and Chico and a field office in Visalia. FGL was founded in 1925. Our professional staff will work diligently with our dairy clients and their advisors to ensure compliance with the mandated time lines outlined in the newly emplaced regulations. | | Jan 3, 2007 | | FGL Acquires Monarch Laboratory, Inc. | FGL Environmental is pleased to announce that it has acquired Monarch Laboratory, Inc. of Chico, California. This additional facility will allow FGL to expand its operations further into Northern California. FGL's goal is to provide the highest quality analysis and service to the Environmental and Agricultural industries in all the areas it services. Jason Botwright is the new laboratory manager and former owner. Ronald Barnes will remain on in a consultancy role to help with the transition from Monarch to FGL Environmental/ Fruit Growers Laboratory, Inc. Most of Monarch's staff will be maintained and trained in FGL's systems which are currently being installed into the Chico operations.
Our current analytical network now includes three (3) laboratory facilities and one field office in California: * Santa Paula, in Ventura County * Stockton * Chico * Visalia field office
We offer full service capabilities providing reliable analysis of drinking water, wastewater, ground water, soils, hazardous waste, agricultural soils and plant tissue.
